What’s Bigger Than Pfizer’s Vaccine? VF Corp Buying Supreme

Sure, Pfizer’s vaccine is a big deal and all, but it’s not like it’ll actually have an impact on anyone in months. In the next week or so as the pandemic hits a second wave and we’ll be wondering where that vaccine is, we’ll actually do know that all is well in the world now that Supreme pocked $2 billion to start the week.

VF Corp is own for being the homes of major brands like North Face, Vans and Timberland. They’re a large part of our culture and the future looks bright now that they’ve added such a valuable company. Slap a “Supreme” logo on any clothing item and it’s not only more valuable, but cooler. The red rectangle with “Supreme” in white letters is a cultural icon that drives a strong consumer base. Stronger than North Face fleeces with suburban kids in 2003. Stronger than Vans at a West Coast skate park. Stronger than Timberland with Long Island college students at a cold weather school.

A Supreme logo drives young people with style. Slap a Supreme logo at a voter registration booth and more young people vote. Slap a Supreme logo on books and kids will read more. Slap a Supreme logo on a plate white t-shirt and thousands of people will plunk down cash for it. There are few more powerful logos than Supreme and watch out for VF Corp as they catch on to it.
